Located in Saltville Virginia, at the center of the Blue Heron Resort’s is our Bed & Breakfast, formerly a manor house built in the late 1890’s.  The newly remodeled three-story Bed & Breakfast includes 5,400 sq. ft. of plantation style rooms and over 3000 sq. ft. of porches and balconies.  All five of our huge guest rooms, including a suite and a penthouse, have private bathrooms with whirlpool jet tubs and balconies that give the privacy and space you’re looking for. 
The Blue Heron resort is nestled in the mountains of Southwest Virginia, on over 255 acres with 10,000 feet bordering the North Holston River, including miles of on-site mountain bike, ATV and hiking trails.  We have campsites available for tents and RV campers.  While staying at the Blue Heron Resort, you will enjoy fishing, tubing and bird watching at its best, including one of Virginia’s largest Blue Heron rookeries.   We are proud to announce that our ultimate outdoor experience is now listed on the Civil National Historic Registry.  Come join us for a stay in the mountains.
